(TheRedWire.com) – A new survey by Redfield & Wilton Strategies has found that most U.S. adults hold a similar view of Hunter Biden and former President Donald Trump in that they suspect both have committed a criminal act that should land them in jail.

The poll was conducted on behalf of Newsweek on April 4 and surveyed 1,500 eligible voters. According to the survey, 46 percent stated they believed the former President was guilty of committing a crime, while 42 percent believed the same about Hunter Biden, who is the son of President Biden.

Trump was arraigned in Manhattan last week on 34 counts of falsifying business documents. The case was brought forth following a lengthy investigation into the hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential election in exchange for her silence in regard to their alleged affair a decade earlier. Trump pleaded not guilty on all counts and has maintained that he has not committed any wrongdoings. He has also maintained that all the cases brought forth against him are politically motivated.

Hunter Biden is facing his own legal woes since he is at the center of investigations looking into his overseas business dealings and especially a theory that Joe Biden, during his time as vice-president, intervened on his son’s behalf in order to protect him against a corruption investigation. The House Oversight Committee is handling the probe, while Hunter Biden has repeatedly denied all allegations relating to this case.
