(TheRedWire.com) – It appears Joe Biden’s on-going struggle with the truth continues. In a 2007 appearance on the Letterman Show, then-Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) bragged he was arrested on Capitol Hill when he was only 21 years old. He claimed he was enamored with the Senate. While in Washington, DC, visiting friends, the future politician visited the Capitol and “stumbled” his way into the Senate chamber. Stunned, Biden said he sat down in the presiding officer’s seat. That’s when he was arrested.

There’s no way to prove whether Biden was telling the truth. It wouldn’t be the first time the president claimed he got arrested. However, other times, it’s been proven false. Biden falsely claimed he was arrested in South Africa trying to visit Nelson Mandela. His campaign admitted the story was a fabrication. He also claimed he earned two degrees when he didn’t and got caught plagiarizing multiple times.
If Biden chronically stretches the truth on smaller issues, what might he do regarding critical, larger ones? We’ll keep you posted.
