AOC's False Riot Story Sparks Twitter Storm

(TheRedWire.com) – In the days that followed January 6 riots on Capitol Hill, Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) claimed her life was in danger as she hid from people who broke into her office. Come to find out, it was the police looking to ensure her safety. Since then, she’s repeatedly claimed she was in fear for her life and has thrown verbal stones at conservative lawmakers, accusing them of attempted murder.

Despite AOC’s drama-filled hyperbole, she was not even in the Capitol building during the riots. She was safely in her office, located in another building entirely. Rioters were not in the office complex. Mocking her, Twitter exploded on Thursday, February 4, with the hashtag, #AlexandriaOcasioSmollett. It’s a reference to actor Jussie Smollett, who claimed he was a victim of a hate crime in 2019. Chicago police learned his allegation was a lie, and Smollett paid people $3,500 to stage an attack.

Perhaps in the future, AOC will be more careful with her words. However, if the past is any indication — she’s likely to get worse long before she ever considers becoming any better with them.
