Nikki Haley Slams Biden for Nuclear Fear Mongering
(TheRedWire.com) – On Thursday, October 6, President Joe Biden attended several fundraisers. During one of them, he warned those in attendance that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent threats raised the prospect of atomic war to its highest level since the Cuban Missile Crisis of the 1960s. On Sunday, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley slammed Biden for nuclear fear-mongering.
Haley told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo the government should never scare Americans. She said the president should have gotten in front of the problem, worked with the National Security Agency, and created a plan in case Russia followed through with any threats.

The former Ambassador also warned that Biden’s exaggerated response signaled fear at a time when the United States should project strength and stressed that the US must be ready to confront a tyrant when one makes a threat, saying Putin followed through on Ukraine. She noted the US ought to prepare to move quickly and respond “aggressively” to Putin’s threats.
Additionally, Haley said Biden was trying to gather votes for Democrats by dipping into the strategic oil reserves after OPEC+ announced it would cut 2 million barrels of oil production per day. Regarding a run for president in 2024, the past governor of South Carolina said she’s focused on helping Republican candidates win on November 8. Haley also stressed she plays to win and isn’t looking to be a vice presidential running mate.
