( – President Joe Biden seems eager to debate former President Donald Trump, responding to a reporter who queried whether he’d debate Trump before the election to “Set it up.”

Biden made the statement Thursday afternoon after a ceremony celebrating the Las Vegas Aces, the WNBA Champions.

The President’s abrupt response came after Trump had expressed his eagerness to debate Biden. Trump revealed he would debate Biden “anywhere, anytime, any place.”

Two weeks earlier, in an interview with Howard Stern, Biden explained that he’d be “happy” to debate Trump, who is presumed to be the GOP’s 2024 Presidential nominee.

Soon after the Stern interview with Biden, Trump took to Truth Social to invite Biden to a debate at the Lower Manhattan courthouse where his hush money trial is currently being conducted.

Trump noted that he and Biden were in New York, admitting that Biden probably didn’t know it. The former President then revealed his destination at the courthouse because of the “many Court cases” that he claimed Biden “instigated” because it’s “the only way he thinks he can win.”

Trump then extended an invitation to Biden to debate at the courthouse that evening, suggesting that the debate will be televised nationally, concluding that he’ll “wait around.”

Trump also gave an alternative venue, suggesting the White House because it would be “very comfortable” for him and Biden, adding, Biden should tell him where as he would be “ready.”

Trump has repeated his invitation to Biden to the press, adding that he’d be “ready, willing and able” for a debate with Biden, suggesting to reporters outside the Manhattan Criminal Court that the pair could debate as soon as “next week,” but he “doubt[s] it.”
