Biden Talks Pelosi Attack – Tries To Connect It With Republicans
(TheRedWire.com) – Around 2 am on Friday, October 28, 42-year-old David DePape broke into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s California home. The Speaker’s 82-year-old husband, Paul Pelosi, managed a call to 911 during the encounter. When police arrived, they found the two men wrestling for a hammer. The suspect wrestled it from Pelosi and hit the Speaker’s husband over the head, fracturing his skull after saying he wanted to talk to “Nancy.” On Friday evening, President Joe Biden denounced the attack and tried to link it to Republicans.
Biden called the vicious attack “despicable” and said it arose from lies the GOP supposedly told about the 2020 presidential election. The president declared there was no place for political violence, and there was too much hate and vitriol in the country. He added that talk of COVID hoaxes and stolen elections affected people who weren’t “well balanced.” He stated it was time to end the violence in politics, regardless of one’s political position.
The president is far more passionate about the attack on Paul Pelosi than the attempted murder of a Supreme Court Justice. Also blames Republicans for rhetoric around stolen elections, fails to mention Hillary Clinton & Stacey Abrams. https://t.co/ThEcHoOuVS

Additionally, the president attempted to use the suspect’s statement, “Where is Nancy,” to connect the dots between the attack on Paul Pelosi and the January 6, 2021, riot on Capitol Hill.
On Sunday, DePape’s ex-girlfriend, Oxane “Gypsy” Taub, said he wasn’t a MAGA or insurrectionist supporter, nor was he a member of the GOP. She stated he wasn’t a right-winger but a mentally ill person.
