On Saturday, June 11, the New York Times reported that Democratic National Convention officials and Democratic lawmakers are nearing a panic over Biden’s sinking approval ratings heading into the midterm elections and are secretly afraid of rumors he may run for reelection in 2024.
On Fox News Sunday, host Bret Baier discussed the developing situation among Democrats who say President Biden shouldn’t run for reelection due to his age and lack of ability and leadership capacity. Baier said Democrats are becoming increasingly vocal and pessimistic about Biden at the top of the ladder.

The Fox News host said that the whisper against Biden has been growing louder over the last few weeks despite the president’s public appearances and statements he intends to run for reelection in 2024.
Baier predicted if Democrats get shellacked in November by Republicans, Democrats won’t have a choice but to reflect on why they lost and set a new direction for their agenda. Still, the higher gas prices and inflation rise, the worse Biden’s polls continue to fall.
The question is, will the president bow out of the 2024 race after the midterm elections, or will America once again choose between Biden and former President Donald Trump?
