Media Tries To Hide Jill Biden Getting Booed at Eagles Game
(TheRedWire.com) – The Democratic Party dominates Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and its surrounding communities, which are strongly liberal. In the 2020 presidential election, 81.2% of voters in those areas cast their ballots for Democrats. So, it might have been a surprise to some when a packed crowd at Lincoln Financial Field booed First Lady Jill Biden after the team announced she was an honorary team captain for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, October 16.
Biden attended the game to promote the White House’s Cancer Moonshot initiative. As she took the field before the game, cancer patients, survivors, and their families joined her. Not even cancer survivors or her status as a team fan saved her from the rain of boos that descended from the stands. President Joe Biden and the First Lady are self-proclaimed Eagles fans. In May 2021, the president said Philly fans are the “most informed and most obnoxious” on the planet.

Not only is Pennsylvania her home state, but Philadelphia is about as deep blue as it gets.
Yet we're told Joe Biden got more votes than any other presidential candidate in history! 🤔pic.twitter.com/9II7qwoO1E

So, did Eagles fanatics boo Mrs. Biden because they don’t like her husband’s politics? It’s hard to know for sure. Philly game-goers tend to boo everyone, and nobody is immune. That includes Santa Claus. In 1968, they booed and threw snowballs at the jolly old elf. Still, most television viewers might not have heard the uproar from the crowd as cameras tried to avoid the rabble and focused closely on the First Lady.
