D.C. “Plan” For Trump’s Money Revealed – This Is Wrong
(TheRedWire.com) – Washington, DC, Attorney General Karl Racine filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump’s inaugural committee in 2020. Instead of paying exorbitant attorney’s fees to litigate the case, the Trump Organization and the committee settled for $750,000 on Tuesday, April 3. Now, all that money will go to two far-left activist groups.
The Washington Post reported that Racine would donate the funds to Mikva Challenge DC and DC Action. Both will receive $375,000 each. The Washington Free Beacon said Mikva Challenge claims to be nonpartisan, yet, the organization supports far-left issues, including identity, equity, fairness, change, and justice. DC Action says it promotes anti-racist principles that break down structural racism and create opportunities for children of color.

As a matter of background, Racine’s lawsuit alleged the Trump inauguration committee improperly used funds to benefit the former president and his family. Additionally, Racine claimed that the committee used funds to overpay for event space during the inauguration and paid for a separate private party at Trump’s hotel in Washington, DC.
Still, the committee’s attorney, Lee Blalack, said the claims were baseless and that if it went to court, the evidence showed the city would have lost the case. The Trump Organization and inaugural committee said the Trump Hotel charged market rate as a premier luxury hotel near the White House.
