(TheRedWire.com) – Since January, Democrats in Congress have continued to seek ways to introduce controversial far-Left bills that they know Republicans can’t support. The list is lengthy: immigration, elections reform, equity and race, and the Second Amendment.
So far, they have been unsuccessful at forcing any through the Senate without using reconciliation which a majority party can only use to pass legislation that directly impacts the federal government’s budget.
That fact doesn’t appear to matter to Democrats intent on fulfilling Joe Biden’s partisan agenda. The solution by the majority of Congressional Democrats moving forward seems to be axing the filibuster.

Democrats are growing increasingly restless as their agenda dies on the vine. After Democrats failed to secure the 60 votes needed to pass the “For the People Act” on June 22, Schumer declared that Democrats would find a way to get around the filibuster. But, of course, he didn’t bother to explain how they intended to do that. The only way to get around the filibuster is to modify or end it.
Moderate Democrat Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) are resolute they will not vote to end the 60 vote threshold. As long as they hold out on Democrats, it’s impossible to change the rules in an evenly divided Senate.
That reality doesn’t seem to matter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and other Democrats who are intent on scheming to ax the filibuster.
