Democrat Star Called Parents SERIAL KILLERS – Now She Has a New Role

( – Florida held its primary election on Tuesday, August 23. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist (D) came out on top to square off against Gov. Ron DeSantis (R). Within hours of the voter results, Crist got off to a bad start when he said four million voters who cast ballots for the Republican governor didn’t care about the state and held “hate in their hearts.” Now, he’s chosen a running mate who will likely turn off millions. The Democratic candidate picked United Teachers of Dade (County) president Karla Hernandez-Mats. Among her extreme views, she compared parents to serial killers for wanting their children to return to school during COVID-19.

Hernandez-Mats extremism didn’t end there. In May 2020, she referred to DeSantis’ push to re-open schools as contradictory to science despite acknowledging students fell behind academically. In July 2020, she tweeted an image to assert the governor perpetuated a narrative that fear of halal meat was comparable to genocide and lynching. She also suggested Columbus Day was racist.

Choosing a running mate who disdains parents and champions teacher unions may not be a good idea for a Democrat in a state adding new Republicans by wide margins. In early July, POLITICO reported Florida’s GOP voter advantage topped 180,000 and could top 200,000 by the end of the month. Last week, DeSantis endorsed school board candidates who won big.

Time will tell, but it doesn’t appear Crist is off to a good general election start.
