(TheRedWire.com) – Across America, human and sex trafficking is a serious and tragic issue. According to the Florida Department of Health, Florida ranks third nationwide as a human trafficking destination, and half of the victims are under 18 years of age. Human Rights observers consider human trafficking a form of modern-day slavery as traffickers profit from exploiting others.
On Wednesday, April 13, law enforcement officials in Polk County, Florida, arrested 108 people in a human trafficking sting operation. Among those arrested were four Disney employees.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the undercover operation’s goal was to identify victims, help them, and capture those profiting from prostitution and exploitation of the victims. Judd said undercover detectives spent six days posting advertisements and interacting with people who thought they were children.

In one instance, Sheriff Judd referred to 27-year-old Disney employee Xavier Jackson as a predator. Jackson believed he was interacting with a 14-year-old girl and sent inappropriate photos of himself.
The news is particularly bad for Disney, which recently found itself at the center of controversy after enacting new theme park policies. Disney will no longer use gender pronouns such as boy or girl so that trans kids feel more included. Disney executives also got caught pushing a left-wing LGBTQ+ agenda in a recently leaked video.
