Dr. Fauci's Disturbing Book Deals Scrubbed Amid Serious Allegations

(TheRedWire.com) – Many Republicans were outraged when they heard that Dr. Anthony Fauci had a book deal and planned to release his book, “Expect the Unexpected,” on November 9. They perceived him as yet another high-profile government official trying to make money off of COVID-19.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) said Fauci’s decision to profit from a book deal about the pandemic was “truly a new low.” Fox personality Joe Concha echoed the sentiment, calling the deal “appalling.” While many sacrificed jobs, businesses and children’s educations, Fauci became the highest-paid government employee and negotiated a book deal, according to Greg Price of the Daily Caller.

Controversy Surrounds Fauci

Since Fauci became a high-profile figure early in 2020, his reputation went from highly respected to very controversial. He repeatedly shifted his views on masks and, in December, admitted he lied to the American people because he didn’t believe they could handle the truth. His manipulation became more evident when Buzzfeed released more than 3,000 emails as part of a freedom of information act request on Tuesday, June 2.

Among several controversial issues, the emails show that the country’s top infectious disease doctor was concerned that the Wuhan Institute of Virology potentially leaked COVID-19. Yet, at the same time, he publicly denied the possibility and said it was a naturally occurring virus jump from animals to humans.

Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said publishers likely offered Fauci more money to write a book than Cuomo. But, considering his long hours of taxpayer-supported work, where did Fauci find the time to write a book?

Book Delisted From Major Outlets

On Wednesday, June 3, several prominent websites delisted the book, including Amazon and Barnes & Nobles. According to the cache listings of the book, Fauci wrote it to share his unique perspective on leadership.

Perhaps the failed book deal will remind Fauci how his leadership included intentional misinformation, manipulation, and constant contradictions.
