(TheRedWire.com) – A Georgia retiree, Gina Gannon, who had in the 2016 presidential race voted for former President Donald Trump, while in 2020 she supported President Joe Biden, is waiting for the first presidential debate in June to try and decide which candidate she should support in November.
The 65-year-old woman has stated that she supported Biden in 2020 as she found the Trump administration to be chaotic. However, she noted that now she is considering voting for Trump once more as she is not happy about the current situation with illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border. She also pointed out that under the Biden administration, they have also had to deal with high inflation.
She did however say that she could still be swayed and that if Biden manages to put forward a strong proposal for securing the U.S. border and appears to be steady despite his age, then she might support him. As she argued Trump is “always a wild card” However as she pointed out Biden, who is 81, is at an age where there are concerns about how he is going to handle himself.
Only around 20 percent of voters are still undecided on who they will support in the upcoming presidential election, however there are some who are considering third-party options or skipping the Nov. 5 election entirely.
Reuters in a recent interview with 15 undecided voters learned that what they were hoping for is to see Trump and Biden square off in order to decide who would have their support. Out of the group, nine had previously voted for Biden, but were now more soured towards him, while one of them was leaning more towards Trump. Three of the voters had similarly soured towards Trump but did not view Biden as a possible alternative.
