(TheRedWire.com) – It appears the pandemic was big business for one non-profit with deep ties to Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Chinese Communist Party. Before COVID-19 started spreading in late 2019, EcoHealth Alliance collaborated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. As a result, it received an almost 350% increase in investments from the United States government.
The National Institute of Health (NIH), where Dr. Fauci works, funded millions of dollars for EcoHealth Alliance. The funding helped pay for the financing of dangerous viruses in Wuhan. Surprisingly, the Chinese lab’s databases and website wiped out research data about the deadly virus. EcoHealth received $81,277 for the fiscal year 2019. When the pandemic took off the following year, the non-profit reported $359,381 in investment income – a 342.2% increase. Ironically, from 2011 to 2018, the non-profit never received more than $70,000 in any one year from the NIH.

Researcher Peter Daszak runs EcoHealth and accepts funding from the Chinese Communist Party as well as other sources. For years, the non-profit collaborated with the Wuhan Institute for virology. So, did EcoHealth provide a unique service after the pandemic began to justify the significant increase in funding from the US government? Or was it just well-positioned to profit from the pandemic despite its non-profit status?
