(TheRedWire.com) – Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky and Dr. Anthony Fauci held their weekly COVID-19 response briefing on Wednesday. The two answered questions and provided updates on the pandemic. During the Q&A portion of the “public health” briefing, Fauci gave Americans some unexpected news.
While many Americans are still preparing for their third jab, Dr. Fauci warned people they should plan on receiving a fourth dose in the coming months. Even though Fauci indicated clinical data from a late-December 2021 Israeli study on the fourth dose isn’t yet available, President Joe Biden’s top doctor is holding strong and calling upon all Americans to consider the fourth jab, especially the elderly and those with preexisting conditions.

But those who oppose Fauci say advocating for people to get the fourth jab without clinical results doesn’t make any sense.
When the CDC and FDA initially introduced the new vaccines after President Trump initiated Operation Warp Speed, those most vulnerable and at greatest risk from the virus received inoculations first. Then, as more doses became available, the CDC encouraged everyone else to take the vaccines. Boosters followed a similar pattern.
Will it be only a matter of time before the CDC rolls out fourth and fifth doses or semi-annual doses as COVID becomes endemic? What do you think?
