(TheRedWire.com) – Fox News host Brian Kilmeade has warned that Former President Donald Trump needed to not listen to his former White House chief of staff Steve Bannon or Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.).
As he stated on “Fox and Friends” on Tuesday, he believed that both candidates needed to realize that if President Joe Biden ended up listening to the “Squad” he was going to lose. He argued that this was also the case for Trump if he listened to Bannon and Gaetz. He pointed out that the majority of voters were not supportive of the extremes and that the successful candidate would be the one who understood this first.
Bannon is currently the host of “War Room” an extremely popular podcast that he often uses to promote the policies of the former President as well as Trump himself. During the different episodes, he will often attack Trump’s enemies and the Republicans who he believes do not have sufficient loyalty to the former President.
Last year Gaetz was responsible for the motion to vacate against House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). He is also one of Trump’s closest allies in Congress.
In recent months Trump and Bannon have frequently slammed Fox News and attacked the Murdoch family as “globalists.” They had also alleged that the network was trying to stand in former President Trump’s way as he sought to win back the White House in 2024.
Despite these accusations, Trump has participated in multiple town hall events hosted by Fox News, as well as a number of exclusive interviews ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
