George W. Bush Is Quietly Funding Liz Cheney

Liz Cheney Election BOMBSHELL – She’s Officially DONE!

( – By all accounts, two-term Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) managed to sabotage her own political career. For instance, she voted to impeach former President Donald Trump shortly after the January 6 Capitol Hill riot. She also joined the Select Committee investigating the incident at the request of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Nevertheless, recent news reports indicate some establishment GOP figures like former President George W. Bush supported her recent fundraising efforts.

The embattled representative managed to raise nearly $1 million from Bush’s home state of Texas this year, more than she took in from Wyoming. Likewise, Bush cronies like his former campaign strategist Carl Rove and Commerce Secretary Donald Evans donate $2,900 each, the maximum individual contribution allowed by federal law.

Similarly, Bush’s vice president and Rep. Cheney’s father, Dick Cheney, hopped on the bandwagon by doing his best to trash Trump on social media as part of an apparent effort to bolster his daughter’s political career.

In all, the former rising star managed to pull in over $15 million during her recent re-election bid. Notably, only $386,000 came from donors in her home state. On the flip side, her Republican primary opponent, Harriet Hageman, produced $4.3 million in donations, with $940,000 coming from Wyoming. Despite the smaller donation numbers, Hageman managed to swipe the Wyoming seat from Cheney, raising questions about her future in politics.

What do you think of the efforts by a former establishment Republican to influence a primary election? Does Cheney losing her reelection bid despite having such a large political figure’s backing only make her look worse?
