(TheRedWire.com) – The Pennsylvania Supreme Court effectively ordered an end to Bill Cosby’s two+ years in prison on Wednesday, June 30. The judges ruled a district attorney’s failure to honor a previous arrangement agreed to by Cosby and the DA’s predecessor violated Cosby’s due process rights.
Emboldened by Cosby’s legal successes, it appears that Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers intend to throw a hail Mary in federal court to set her free from charges of sex trafficking in connection with deceased convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

On Friday, Maxwell’s attorney’s argued that she can’t be charged as an Epstein co-conspirator. They alleged she was included in a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) even though her name isn’t mentioned in any documents and she didn’t sign an NDA.
That’s not stopping her attorney’s from comparing her case to Cosby’s. The filing with the court states that the government reneged on its deal with Maxwell 25 years after they granted her immunity for those very same crimes.
Manhattan federal prosecutors maintain that the nondisclosure agreement doesn’t apply to Maxwell or her case. It appears to be the latest in a series of attempts to free Maxwell. She denies all the charges against her.
