(TheRedWire.com) – David Chalian, a CNN analyst, stated during an appearance on CNN’s “Inside Politics” on Monday that a possible impeachment of President Biden by the House Republicans would just be “juice” for Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign.
As he stated, one of the key problems in the Biden campaign right now is the lack of enthusiasm, which, with an impeachment, would be fixed as the Democrats would quickly increase their enthusiasm and support of Biden. He added that launching an impeachment inquiry is an easy way to see everything the Democrats are willing to do to rally for Biden.
As evidence for this, he pointed out what had happened after the 2019 impeachment of former President Donald Trump when some Republicans had rallied around him.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has stated that the House Republicans would be looking into a possible impeachment inquiry being opened in connection to President Biden and his family’s business activities once the House reconvenes.
On Sunday, McCarthy had also stated that this would be the natural progression following the recent House GOP probes, which have discovered much evidence about Biden’s business dealings during his time as Vice President.
The House Oversight Panel has also gotten the testimony of Devon Archer, an associate of President Biden’s son Hunter Biden, who had alleged that Hunter Biden would put his phone on speakerphone while conducting business if his father was around. House Republicans have stated that this testimony shows that Biden lied when he claimed to have never spoken to Hunter Biden about his business activities.
