GOP To Investigate Biden Family’s Business Dealings
(TheRedWire.com) – Republican Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) released an 87-page report in 2020, detailing what they claimed was corruption by President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden. Since then, Republicans have continued their research into the powerful family’s business dealings despite being in the minority in Congress. Now that the GOP has flipped the House, prominent Republicans say they plan to investigate.
On Thursday, November 17, incoming House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) offered serious allegations. They told reporters they had received allegations of President Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s overseas dealings. For two years, the Commander-in-Chief has denied he had any involvement with his son’s business activities.

The two GOP House stalwarts referenced a 31-page report that provided key points of their findings. They alleged the president was involved in waste, fraud, and abuse in global business dealings. The Republicans believe they also found evidence showing Hunter Biden conspired to defraud the US and violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act, money laundering, tax evasion, and more.
Comer added that whistleblowers alleged the family became wealthy by offering access to Biden while he served as vice president. The representative added he wanted to know if the president was compromised or if he participated in his son’s business activities.
