(TheRedWire.com) – The Never Back Down PAC, which is supporting Florida governor Ron DeSantis in his possible 2024 presidential campaign, has launched a new TV ad that is airing in many early GOP 2024 primary states. In the ad, DeSantis is presented as the leader taking over from former President Donald Trump.

DeSantis has not yet announced his intentions for 2024, but it is widely expected that he will launch a presidential campaign after his state’s legislature ends.

ABC News reported that the advertisement created by the PAC was going to be broadcasted in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada. It was further noted that the ad will run on cable and nationally.

Erin Perrine, the Never Back Down Communications director, told ABC News that DeSantis is a “proven winner” and that he has never lost an election. He added if the Republicans wanted to win the White House in the upcoming presidential election, then DeSantis was the way to go.

The PAC has raised $30 million since March. The ad is titled “Winning,” and is touting the many accomplishments and victories of DeSantis who managed to win his reelection by 20 points.  One of the highlights from the ad was a scene where someone was placing a “DeSantis for President 2024” bumper sticker over a “Trump for President 2016” sticker.

According to FiveThirtyEight, which is owned by ABC News, average polling has put Trump in the lead for the 2024 GOP primary by around 27 points.
