Harris Makes False Claims About Trump's COVID Vaccination Plans

(TheRedWire.com) – Vice President Harris will do anything to make Trump look bad, and the Biden administration look good. Harris recently told Axios on their HBO television show that the Trump administration didn’t create a national strategy or plan to vaccinate the country against the COVID-19 virus. However, it appears that her statement is misleading.

In fact, the Biden administration inherited a “100 million shots in 100 days” vaccination program created by the Trump administration. That didn’t stop Harris from perpetrating a massive misstatement by claiming the current administration started from scratch. The VP’s comment even drew ire from Dr. Anthony Fauci. In January, Fauci emphatically stated, “We certainly are not starting from scratch.”

Harris isn’t alone in the false criticism. The vice president must be taking her cue from President Joe Biden. Last week, Biden claimed that President Trump didn’t do his job in getting the vaccination program ready. That’s despite Trump’s successful administration of Operation Warp Speed. Republican Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) called out Biden and Harris and accused the two of stealing Trump’s plan and taking credit for it themselves.
