Hillary Clinton Makes EMBARRASSING Tweet – Instantly Mocked
(TheRedWire.com) – After the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s Florida home on Monday, August 8, at least one politician brazenly attempted to profit off the scandal. Perhaps this person should think twice. Two-time failed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton promoted merchandise with the moniker “But Her Emails” one day after the unprecedented raid. She tweeted that profits from every purchase benefited her non-profit political action group.
The reference to emails focused on a 2016 FBI investigation into the former Secretary of State for using a private unsecured email address and server to communicate official government business, including classified documents. Federal law prohibits officials from skirting requirements to retain official communications.
Every “But her emails” hat or shirt sold helps @onwardtogether partners defend democracy, build a progressive bench, and fight for our values.

In July 2016, then-FBI Director James Comey made the case she broke the law but stated no reasonable prosecutor would file charges against her. Then-Republican candidate Donald Trump made her email scandal a central campaign platform, and the #ButHerEmails hashtag has trended on social media platforms ever since.
Clinton received scathing criticism for profiting off the merchandise in light of breaking a similar law to the Presidential Records Act for other government officials. One journalist tweeted that she was raising money after admitting what she did was worse than what the FBI accused Trump of doing. Another stated she bragged about illegally deleting 33,000 emails from her private server. Another noted it’s okay to break the law and profit from it so long as it’s a Democrat.
