Ilhan Omar Gets NASTY – “Miserable Little Weasel…”
(TheRedWire.com) – At the end of August, President Joe Biden said the Department of Education would forgive student loans for $10,000 or $20,000 for those who received a Pell Grant. The administration is using the HEROES Act of 2003 to justify the move. Still, some say Congress explicitly intended the law only to forgive loans of combat service members who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is among some of the most ardent critics. On Tuesday, September 6, far-left Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) attacked the Texas Senator for his view and labeled him a “miserable little weasel.”
Cruz and several other Conservatives are searching for a way to block Biden’s edict. He’s exploring potential legal challenges. Omar said he’s trying to bring the debt relief plan before the Supreme Court, where GOP appointees could overturn Biden’s plan. The far-left Democrat stated she believed the president is on firm legal ground and would survive legal scrutiny. She encouraged student loan borrowers to set up alerts so they could get their application for forgiveness submitted in October.
What a miserable little weasel, no wonder they call him “Lucifer in the flesh.”
Fortunately, student debt cancellation is legally sound and should withstand legal scrutiny. Set your alerts for the application in October, if you qualify for relief and file before the end of Dec. https://t.co/TXUpWbr3Af

On Tuesday, Washington Post reporter Jeff Stein tweeted that a top litigator told Cruz he needed to find someone with standing, preferably a student loan processor.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) says a top Supreme Court litigator told him that the best potential plaintiff for establishing "standing" to overturn Biden's student debt plan would be a student loan processor, predicts action is blocked by SCOTUS 6-3

If Cruz can find someone willing to join a lawsuit, the reporter said the staunch Conservative believes the president’s plan will go down 6 to 3.
