(TheRedWire.com) – On Saturday, George Conway, a conservative attorney and vocal critic of former President Donald Trump, argued that there was a big chance that Trump would end up in jail.

During an interview with CNN, Conway argued that there is a “substantial possibility” that Trump will be found guilty of multiple felonies in the federal legal case against him and in order cases. He added that considering how Trump has not shown any remorse or willingness to take on responsibility for his action, he will likely face a hefty “sentence of incarceration.”

On Tuesday, Trump pleaded not guilty on 37 counts relating to his alleged mishandling of classified documents and attempting to obstruct justice by not allowing the federal government to recover the records in his possession.

This is not the only case that he has been charged in connection to in recent months. He also pleaded guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records following a probe into his 2016 hush money payment.

Trump is also in the middle of two other investigations. One investigation from the Department of Justice related to his attempts to overturn the presidential election, and one from the Fulton County district attorney related to his attempts to influence the election results in the state.

Many allies of Trump have argued that the indictments are entirely politically motivated. However, Conway has dismissed these claims, arguing that Trump’s supporters are having difficulty coming to terms with the severity of these allegations. He argued that they were judging the special counsel before he even revealed the indictment.
