(TheRedWire.com) – Ivanka Trump, daughter of former President Donald Trump, posted on Twitter for the first time since her father’s federal indictment last week on Sunday.

Ivanka Trump’s tweet did not relate to the indictment but honored Father’s Day instead. In her tweet, she wished her husband Jared Kushner a “Happy Father’s Day” and praised him for being a “loving partner” and “incredible father.”

Hours after the post honoring her husband, she took to Twitter again to post a photo wishing a “Happy Father’s Day” to her father, Donald Trump. In the caption of the video, she wrote that she loved him.

During Trump’s first time in office, Ivanka served as his senior adviser. However, she decided to refrain from politics after her father exited the White House in 2021. While Trump is currently the frontrunner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary race, his daughter does not appear to be in any way involved in his political campaign.

Ivanka Trump has also not publicly stated about Donald Trump’s recent federal indictment. Last week, Trump pleaded not guilty to 37 federal charges concerning his alleged mishandling of classified material after leaving office in 2021. The documents were recovered from his Mar-a-Lago estate last August by the FBI. He is now charged with willfully retaining classified records, conspiring to obstruct the federal government’s efforts to recover the documents, and several other charges relating to the Espionage Act.
