One of former President Trump’s accomplishments was building policies that dramatically reduced illegal immigration. However, on the first day of the Biden administration on January 20, the new president started undoing Trump’s policies almost immediately after being sworn.

After evidence surfaced that the administration released illegal immigrants into the country who tested positive for COVID-19, and images came out showing kids in “bubble” cages, a new poll suggests the public is not happy about the situation. According to an Associated Press-NORC poll, the president is momentarily receiving positive reviews regarding his handling of the economy. However, there’s a huge gap when factoring in immigration views. Overall, 56% of voters don’t approve of his immigration policies and results. Not surprisingly, a whopping 89% of Republicans were not pleased, and neither were 67% of independents. However, 74% of Democrats approved of how Biden was handling the crisis.
If this was Biden’s functional concept of unity, it’s no wonder the immigration policy is proving elusive.
