(TheRedWire.com) – On Tuesday, The Daily Show aired a brutal parody of Vice President Kamala Harris, in which they joke about her propensity for word salad.

During Tuesday’s skit, Desi Lydic, a frequent contributor for The Daily Show, joked that Harris’s remarks were inspired by her “holistic thought advisor” played by Lydic.

Lydic plays “Dahlia Rose Hibiscus,” who advises Harris “from a place of advisement” and then communicates these to her “holistically.”

Surrounded by a vision board, candles, and a game of “Mad Libs,” the self-proclaimed thought guru explains that she advises Harris on “idea voyages” rather than sentences.

Lydic, or rather Hibiscus, states the process is called “speaking without thinking” and doesn’t focus on the thought’s destination but rather the journey and the number of words “you use to describe the journey.”

The Daily Show also played several clips in which Harris rambles and speaks in her signature word salad. In one clip they played, Harris asks the audience whether they think they “fell out of a coconut tree,” suggesting that they didn’t and rather “exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you.”

Lydic describes that as Harris’ thought adviser, she cuts out words from speeches the Vice President’s staff give her before taking them to a “word cave” to discover in which “order the universe wants them to be in,” resulting in something “more powerful” than its literal meaning.

The thought adviser then castigates those who criticize Harris, suggesting people didn’t need to understand the Vice President and that her statements should be “open to interpretation,” much like modern art that leaves viewers bewildered after viewing.
