(TheRedWire.com) – When then-Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden chose his vice-presidential running-mate, some found it shocking. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was one of the least popular presidential candidates in 2020 and was the first to drop out of the race, even before the first primary vote was cast, due to a lack of support among Democrats. It appears that since becoming the vice president on January 20, Harris’s popularity with voters hasn’t budged, even among Democrats.
.@KamalaHarris, the presumptive 2024 nominee should Biden not run, is historically and shockingly unpopular.
She'll be an absolute disaster for Democrats, writes @TianatheFirst.https://t.co/Vwm5U4GA4q

According to a new YouGov poll, the VP’s popularity is a whopping 41%. Her unfavorability is approaching 50% and stands at an astounding 48%. If one thinks that Republican voters are driving the numbers, think again. Amazingly, 1 in 5 Democrats sees Harris as unfavorable. Worse yet, 3 in 5 independents felt the same. That’s despite the media’s efforts to build the vice president up. If Harris ends up at the top of the ticket in 2024, it could be a sizable advantage for a GOP presidential candidate.
