Kamala Harris Starts LAUGHING UNCONTROLLABLY While Talking About Severe Drought
(TheRedWire.com) – California is currently experiencing one of the worst droughts in the state’s history, forcing it to implement restrictions in several regions to conserve water for the people who live there. While delivering remarks on the subject and highlighting the importance of conservation, Vice President Kamala Harris had a hard time containing her laughter as she reminisced about her childhood in the Golden State.
Meanwhile, about six million residents in Southern California are now under water restrictions until the situation improves. Los Angeles, Ventura, and San Bernardino counties can only use a certain amount of outdoor water one or two days a week. Additionally, the government is asking residents in those areas to reduce their water usage indoors by 20% to 30% — no laughing matter.
In fact, Metropolitan general manager Adel Hagekhalil stated if people in California don’t take the water problem seriously, the state will have no choice but to take “stronger action.” Currently, agencies who don’t abide by the rules can face fines up to $2,000 per acre of water.
Officials expect the drought to last at least through the end of 2022. This year, the Golden State has seen more than 10,000 acres burn due to the situation. Is that funny?
