(TheRedWire.com) – Vice President Kamala Harris was ridiculed following the comments that she had made during a roundtable that dealt with public transportation accessibility. While in attendance, Harris made an obvious point about how transportation is “fundamentally” focused on ensuring people can go wherever they need. As she argued, it was “that basic.”

These comments led to many conservatives taking to Twitter to ridicule her.

Derek Hunter, a Townhall columnist, questioned whether the Biden campaign was pushing her to appear “dumber” than she is.

Steve Guest, a Republican communicator, argued that Harris could not possibly be serious by voicing these nonsense thoughts.

OutKick’s Tomi Lahren also joined those blasting her by ironically writing that she was a genius. He was not the only person to take this approach in his comments. Lone Conservative, a Campus conservative advocacy organization, stated that Harris had a “way with words.”

Others, like Radio host Julie Gunlock, commented on how she was a “National treasure,” and Liz Peek, a Fox News columnist, pointed out how insightful Harris’s comment was.

The essential nature of Harris’s comment about transportation being focused on helping people get from one place to another prompted many also to question why she was expressing such a basic idea. At the same time, Alex Sears, a Republican social media and digital strategist, took it one step further by arguing that Harris had solved accessibility in transportation.
