( – On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump reiterated her support for him arguing that she was going to spend “every single penny” of the Republican National Committee to make sure he wins back the White House.

Newsmax host Rob Schmitt asked Lara what she believed needed to change for the RNC to become more competitive. In response, she argued that the Committee needed to be the “most lethal political fighting machine” in the country’s history. She added that this was the goal in the next nine-and-a-half months if she won back the White House. She then noted that if she is elected to the RNC then she would make sure that there would not be $70,000 spent on flowers and that all of the money would be going towards the actual purpose of the RNC which is to reelect Trump in the White House.

The pledge came only days after Trump backed Lara to become the next RNC co-chair. In his statement, he had argued that she was dedicated to MAGA and that she was a very “talented communicator.” Apart from Lara Trump he also endorsed North Carolina GOP Party Chair Michael Whatley to become the next RNC chair.

Trump’s son Eric is married to Lara Trump who has been involved with GOP donors and the RNC since the first Trump administration. If the RNC members vote for Lara Trump and Whatley it would mark Trump’s complete takeover of the committee.

Ronna McDaniel, who is currently serving as the RNC chair is expected to step down on Feb. 24, following the South Carolina primary.
