AP Claims GOP Never Submitted Evidence Against Biden – That’s False

(TheRedWire.com) – In September 2020, Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ron Johnson (R-WI) released an 84-page report citing Hunter Biden’s alleged conflicts of interest and corruption. The duo also sent federal prosecutors over 200 pages of documents connecting the Biden family to Chinese leaders. Republicans have since presented evidence that President Joe Biden spoke with his son about the family’s foreign business dealings.

After Republicans flipped the House in the 2022 midterm elections, incoming House Oversight Committee Chairman Representative James Comer (R-KY) said the matter required deeper investigation. Yet, on Saturday, November 19, the Associated Press (AP) falsely claimed the GOP had never submitted evidence.

In an article, the news outlet stated that the upcoming GOP-led committee would use a “few years’ worth of complaints” to make its case against Hunter Biden. It referred to them as “conspiracy theories,” but Republicans may argue against that charge.

During an episode of “Jesse Watters Primetime,” which Breitbart later shared on their site, Comer said that GOP members were concerned about the president’s poor decisions and whether his son’s and brother’s “shady business dealings” compromised him in some way. “We believe this is a national security risk,” he explained.

In 2020, incoming House Judiciary Chairman Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) claimed that former Hunter Biden business associate and whistleblower Tony Bobulinski said he met with Joe Biden to discuss dealings in China. Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY) held up a voicemail from Joe Biden to his son as proof that he did know about Hunter Biden’s business dealings, stating that it was just the “tip of the iceberg.”

Many new revelations could come out when hearings start after the first of the year.
