(TheRedWire.com) – On Monday Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) called on President Biden to provide further information regarding the unidentified objects that had been shot down by the U.S. military over the past week. The three objects were shot down only days after the U.S. military had to bring down a Chinese spy balloon that had traveled across the U.S. for a few days.

The first of the unidentified objects was shot down over Alaska on Friday, the second one over Canada, at the direction of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Saturday, and the third one over Michigan on Sunday.

Following the information regarding these three objects, McConnell posed a number of questions on the Senate floor which included “Has the Biden administration just dialed the sensitivity of our radars all the way up? If so, what are the objects that we are just now noticing for the very first time?”

He added, “Are they benign science projects and wayward weather balloons, or something more nefarious that we’ve somehow been missing all this time?”

McConnell concluded that President Biden owed the American people answers regarding the objects that were being shot down and where those objects came from. Other questions that should be answered include “Whether they are hostile or not, is there coherent guidance about when to shoot them down? … How did we get into a position where the greatest nation in the world doesn’t know what is traversing our own airspace?”
