Mike Pence Reappears From the GOP Dead

Mike Pence RETURNS In Surprise Comeback

(TheRedWire.com) – After the January 6, 2021, riot on Capitol Hill, former Vice President Mike Pence had a difficult road ahead of him. Some in the GOP labeled Pence a traitor for refusing to overturn the 2020 election after saying he didn’t have the Constitutional authority to do such a thing. Months later, some Republicans booed him for crossing former President Donald Trump. For a time, the former VP lost political ground, but it appears he’s making it up quickly now.

POLITICO detailed how Pence has been stumping successfully for GOP candidates in South Carolina and Iowa. Booing crowds have been replaced with cheering, growing audiences full of social conservatives to whom Pence heavily appeals in GOP circles. After a Supreme Court draft leaked in an abortion case, the former vice president seized on the moment as a decades-long pro-life politician. Still, that’s not Pence’s only focus. He’s also drawing lines in the sand over parental choice in the classroom and recently launched his own freedom agenda.

As Pence enjoys rock star status in several early primary states, the former VP may face a big test soon. In the coming days, Pence will square off against Trump. In Georgia, he’s stumping for incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp (R). Trump endorsed Kemp’s challenger, former Sen. David Perdue (R-GA). In addition, he’ll be attending rallies for GOP candidates in numerous other primary states.

So, is Pence laying the groundwork for a 2024 presidential run?

Stay tuned.
