(TheRedWire.com) – To keep the United States government running, lawmakers have used the art of compromise since the country’s founding when it comes to ideological differences between the parties. However, this hasn’t happened for the coronavirus relief package because, as Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has admitted, Congressional Democrats have intentionally held it up.
Still, in a show of good faith to Congressional Liberals, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said they would support the new White House proposal, including a $600 direct payment per person. They also reversed their position on bailouts of state and local governments. However, along with many on the left, Sanders has said he will not support a bill that does not include a payment of at least $1200 per person.
On @MSNBC this morning, Sen. @BernieSanders was fired up about his demand for $1,200 stimulus payments in a new COVID deal.
Secy. Mnuchin proposed a $600 stimulus check last night.

The roadblocks Democrats have put in place have caused untold misery for American citizens in the past few months because of their obsessive desire to push their Socialist/Communist agenda. It can only make one wonder how much damage they might do if they manage to gain the Oval Office and both houses of Congress.
Stay tuned for developments.
