(TheRedWire.com) – People around the globe love beef and dairy. However, it wasn’t long ago that far-left firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went to war against farmers and ranchers about methane production by cows. However, a recent report may offer a solution to the problem.

A study released on March 17 determined that cows consuming 80 grams of seaweed per day experienced an 82% reduction in methane production. Of additional importance is the fact they gained as much weight as other cows.
This discovery is potentially huge because some estimates suggest agriculture accounts for 10% of greenhouse emissions in the United States, and about half of it comes from cows and other grass and hay-eating livestock.
Researchers say the discovery of seaweed’s impact on methane production could lead to improved sustainability in the production of beef and dairy products. Perhaps in the process, it will quiet down AOC and the far left and stop them from attacking hard-working ranchers and farmers.
