(TheRedWire.com) – It is difficult to understand how a Speaker of the House could be so careless and baseless with words. Yet, here we are. On Tuesday, April 20, a jury found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on three charges in the death of George Floyd while in custody. Prominent Democratic politicians ran as quickly as possible to the microphones to make political points and call for police reforms. Among them was President Biden and Vice President Harris. However, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stole the cake and ate it.

From behind a podium, Pelosi said the unthinkable. She thanked George Floyd for “sacrificing his life for justice.” Perhaps we’re all missing something? Floyd didn’t die as a sacrifice or a prop. A jury determined Chauvin murdered him. Pelosi’s words were so shocking and tone-deaf that even the left began calling her out on social media. Some demanded that she resign immediately.
