(TheRedWire.com) – In the 2020 election, Joe Biden narrowly defeated Donald Trump in Wisconsin. However, many questions surround Biden’s slight win because the Democratic governor of the state did not take voting irregularities seriously, and the US Supreme Court refused to hear former President Trump’s case. As a result, the Republican-led statehouse is moving forward with an investigation. On Tuesday, March 23, the Wisconsin Assembly passed a resolution authorizing a probe into the 2020 election on a 58-35 party-line vote. All Republicans voted for the authorization, and all the Democrats voted against it.
The investigation comes after a partial recount, as well as multiple failed lawsuits that challenged the election. https://t.co/MGWp2g88M4

The resolution allows the Elections and Campaign Committee to conduct the investigation, issue subpoenas to force sworn testimony and gather documents. On election night, then-President Trump enjoyed a formidable lead over Biden. However, by morning Biden took the lead after a huge number of Biden votes suddenly appeared between 4 to 5 am.
While the Wisconsin legislature considers ongoing allegations of compromised voter integrity and election improprieties, it also investigates the amendment of some voting laws, particularly those revolving around mail-in voting.
