This Industry Is BOOMING As Worry Hits America
(TheRedWire.com) – Large gun manufacturers such as Smith & Wesson and Sig Sauer account for the lion’s share of guns made in the United States. Yet, a growing number of small manufacturers are making specialized or customizable weapons for their customers. From 2000 to 2020, gun manufacturing permits increased by over 694%, and the number of small gun makers increased their production. Growth in this sector has continued despite Democrats’ efforts at pushing for increased gun control measures.
Smaller gun manufacturers appear to be fulfilling a niche market. Many customers want a specialized gun that’s often limited in production. For example, Newsmax shared that one customer wanted a gun for each of his children’s births with the child’s name and date of birth on it. Still, others may desire a Bible verse or an image like the American flag. The guns are usually pricey, but that’s not stopping sales.

Some estimates say that in 2021, the small gun manufacturers added approximately $70 billion to the economy. A single rifle from a small gun manufacturer might cost from $1,295 to $1,695.
Despite Democrats’ hype, small arms manufacturers say they hope bad guys never use their guns in crimes or mass shootings. They argue that the gun is not the problem and that instead, people are the problem. They believe that if somebody intends to harm someone, they will find a way to do it with whatever is at their disposal.
