‘Squad’ Democrat Caught Working With Alarmist Group

Jim Jordan Threatens Subpoena of Cold Footed Ex-FBI Agent

(TheRedWire.com) – Progressive Representative Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat from Michigan and a prominent member of the “Squad,” recently participated in a virtual meeting centered around the pressing issue of climate change. The conference was organized by three environmental groups: Declare Emergency, Climate Defiance, and the Climate Emergency Fund. Notably, one of these groups is under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

During the Zoom meeting, the participants delved into the urgency of addressing the escalating climate crisis. They drew attention to the alarming speed at which the planet approaches critical climate tipping points, surpassing initial predictions. Moreover, they underscored the increasing frequency of devastating events such as wildfires, smoke, tornadoes, and unprecedented weather occurrences, all of which they attributed to the breakdown of the climate system. This assessment led them to assert that further delays in taking action were not an option.

A spokesperson representing the Climate Emergency Fund clarified that the primary aim of the call was to galvanize the activist community and foster collective action. It was emphasized that Rashida Tlaib did not officially affiliate with any of the groups involved in the Zoom meeting. However, they noted that Tlaib, like many others, expressed deep alarm and concern about the escalating climate change. The spokesperson highlighted the significance of peaceful protest and activism as fundamental pillars of democracy, urging all Americans to unite and advocate for effective measures to address the climate crisis.

It is worth mentioning that two members of Declare Emergency, one of the groups present during the Zoom meeting, are currently subjects of investigation by the FBI’s Art Crime Team. The study was initiated in response to the vandalization of the protective box encasing Edgar Degas’ renowned statue, “Little Dancer Aged Fourteen,” at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. While the FBI has confirmed the ongoing investigation, they have not provided any specific comments regarding Rashida Tlaib’s participation in the virtual meeting.
