(TheRedWire.com) – The violent conflict currently underway between Israel and Palestine has divided commentators around the world. Israel has traditionally been a close ally of the United States. However, not all our lawmakers appreciate the importance of this, and some have spoken out in defense of Palestine.
Unsurprisingly, the radical members of “The Squad” are among these. Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who has previously found herself in hot water over antisemitic remarks, Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) have all taken to Twitter to express their support for Palestine.
On Monday, May 10, conservative firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) fired back at the three liberals with the below tweet. She pointed out that Israel’s rocket strikes were a retaliation to initial aggression from Palestine and noted that the three Democrat representatives also “support terrorists Antifa/BLM” closer to home.
