Democrats STALL As Supreme Court Justices Face DEATH THREATS

(TheRedWire.com) – In May, a leaked draft opinion authored by Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito hinted that the nation’s highest might overturn Roe v. Wade before the end of June. Far-left groups and pro-choice activists sprung into action to make their voices heard by protesters outside the homes of Justices Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, and Chief Justice John Roberts. Early Wednesday morning, June 8, police arrested a suspect in front of Kavanaugh’s house on suspicion he meant to harm the Justice.

Shortly after the leak of the draft opinion, the US Senate passed legislation to protect the Justices and their families. Since then, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stalled the bill. On Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) blasted House Democrats saying the legislation would have benefited Kavanaugh and his family. He said Pelosi needed to bring the bill up for a vote in the House and pass it.

McConnell wasn’t alone in his criticism. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) accused Democrats of using heated rhetoric to exert pressure on conservative justices. McCarthy also condemned a past statement by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) because he said that Kavanaugh and Alito would pay the price if the high court overturned Roe.

On Thursday, Pelosi finally informed reporters that the bill would receive a vote in the House early next week.
