(TheRedWire.com) – In an election that was supposed to be close, it appears Georgia has shocked America. Late Tuesday night, Decision Desk HQ made the call and announced Raphael Warnock (D-GA) as the projected winner over incumbent Sen. Kelly Loeffler. Not long after, at approximately 2 am, Wednesday, it announced that John Ossoff (D-GA) was the projected winner over incumbent Sen. David Perdue (D-GA).

The consequences could be profound for the nation’s future as Democrats are set to move the country hard left. If certified, the projected Democratic winners would flip the Senate from Republican hands and deliver it to Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who will likely become the next Senate Majority Leader. That could open the floodgates for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-NY) to run unchecked and begin passing far-left legislation such as the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, student debt elimination and much more.
Until the election is certified by Georgia election officials, the results are not official. There are numerous instances in past elections where new updates revealed a change in the projected winner.
