(TheRedWire.com) – Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) called on state officials to investigate transgender transition care for minors as a form of child abuse in early March. He’s not alone in expressing that sentiment. Arkansas recently banned puberty blockers or hormones for transgender youth, and Tennessee banned gender-confirming care for minors. Yet, on Thursday, March 31, The White House and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) used controversial research from the LGBTQ group, The Trevor Project, to support puberty blockers, hormone therapies, and sex-change surgical procedures for children.
As the 2022 midterms approach, several media sources claim President Joe Biden is attempting to appeal to a broader diversity of voters. Might the president be failing?

Making matters worse, some question the Trevor Project’s motives. The group received $50,000 from drugmaker AbbVie, which makes Lupron. This drug treats premature puberty, and some doctors prescribe the drug off-label to transgender children. The manufacturer also makes a testosterone booster for female-to-male transitions.
The Trevor Project study alleged transgender children who have access to the drugs and procedures to transition from one sex to the other are less likely to experience depression and suicide. HHS said the drugs were vital to the well-being of transgender children.
The White House claims transgender kids have a right to gender-affirming health care – including surgical sex changes. What do you think? Should pre-pubescent children be making life-changing decisions?
