(TheRedWire.com) – On Monday one of former President Trump’s lawyers stated that it would be “an all-out war” if Trump is indicted in connection to the Manhattan district attorney’s investigation into a 2016 hush-money payment.

Trump’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, noted that while they are able to do whatever “they want” if they pursue an indictment it will be “an all-out war.” This statement was made during an interview with former Trump adviser Kimberly Guilfoyle. Tacopina also added that if he is indicted then Trump is going to “be there loud and proud” and that he was not going to “cower.”

On Friday, the Trump attorney made a similar statement to the New York Daily News about former President Trump not refusing to surrender if indicted. He added that “there won’t be a standoff at Mar-a-Lago with the Secret Service and the Manhattan DA’s office.”

Tacopina has spent some time in the media circle defending the former President, while the investigation by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) over the alleged $130,000 payment made on Trump’s behalf to adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election is starting to close.

On Saturday, Trump alleged that he was going to be arrested as soon as Tuesday. He then called for his supporters to protest his arrest. However, according to a Trump spokesperson, Trump has not yet been formally notified about a possible indictment.
