(TheRedWire.com) – While the Democratic Party is erupting in a civil war over the minimum wage and appears to be splintered moving forward between Moderates and the far-Left, the GOP remains united behind former President Donald Trump’s leadership. That’s despite a media narrative that suggests otherwise. The unity was on display Sunday, February 28, during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Trump made it clear: A divided GOP would only serve to help Democrats.

Speaking for well over an hour, Trump said he wasn’t interested in dividing the party despite the “fake news” media’s suggestion otherwise. Using humor and sarcasm, Trump reminded the conservative audience of what’s at stake over the next four years and said a new Republican president in 2024 would take back the White House. He told the crowd that despite the challenges of the last four years, the party, MAGA movement and the country’s best days are ahead. Together, Trump said, the GOP and the conservative movement would turn America around and make it “greater than it ever has been before.”
