(TheRedWire.com) – Former President Donald Trump took the opportunity in his Memorial Day message to slam President Joe Biden for his “reckless” economic policies and promised that if he wins back the White House in 2024, Americans were going to have a completely different experience on Memorial Day in 2025.
In a video posted on Rumble, Trump stated that as people gather with their friends and family, they will have noticed that because of Biden’s reckless economic policies everything in the store had gotten more expensive. He added that there has been an increase in the “energy costs and currency inflation” unlike anything that the country has seen in 50 years. He proceeded to specifically talk about the 48 percent increase in gas prices, 18 percent increase in food prices, and 41 percent increase in airline prices.
As he noted, taxes have also gone up, and the high-interest rates for both mortgages and car loans mean that the American dream has become unreachable for millions of families. Trump further stated that real wages have been going down for the past two years and that the typical American family has noticed a $7,000 decrease in their purchasing power per year because of the Biden presidency.
He proceeded to promise that if he wins back the White House, he is going to immediately try to reverse the “disastrous effects” of Biden’s inflation and try to “rebuild the greatest economy in the history of the world.” He proceeded to state that he was going to focus on energy independence and stop the war that Biden has been waging on American energy.
