(TheRedWire.com) – Miles Taylor, a former Trump administration official, has warned that former President Donald Trump’s conduct regarding the classified material is part of a more significant case of wrongdoing. Before working for the Trump administration and serving as the U.S. Department of Homeland chief of staff for two years, Taylor was employed by the George W. Bush administration.
In 2018, in the middle of his two-year serving in the Trump administration, Taylor wrote an anonymous essay titled “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration.” The essay was published in the New York Times, while later on, Taylor also released a book called “A Warning,” which was also anonymously published.
Around one year after the publication, he revealed that he had been the writer of the two works. In a recent interview with MeidasTouch Podcast host and co-founder Ben Meiselas he revealed that during his time in the administration, he had often seen Trump mishandle classified information and documents. He even pointed out that one morning he received a call concerning a meeting between Trump and Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, and Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, on May 10, 2017. Taylor pointed out that the meeting had been publicized heavily as it had led to many concerns about top-secret information potentially being given to an adversary.
Taylor noted during the podcast that people were still unaware of how sensitive the information that Trump had shared was but that this was only one of the occasions where Trump had potentially mishandled classified documents.
